It's a real nice Friday to be outside and the first of three days that your weather forcast simply say's Sunny. It's doesn't get much more simple than those five letters! 

Today is one of those days with everything.  If you were up at dawn you would have seen one of the most remarkable sunrises we've seen in a long time; a full sky of vivid pink, orange and blues.

Waves are up and the wind is howling!  We're in our second straight day of non-stop gusty Southerlies and there's a raw South swell marching up the coast, mostly straight past us in Manly.

Apparently yesterday was one of Sydney's hottest days on record.  Did I see 47 degrees somewhere out on the western reaches of the city?! Wow! That's a slow roast temperature!

Were you up early this morning?  It was a touch cool with a light offshore and crisp, clear, autumn-like air. I stepped out the door and almost turned back for a jumper.  But this is Summer

Good morning and a Happy New Year to you!!  How you doing?  Back to work? Hmmm, yeah, me too!   

Morning!  Today's the longest day of the year - enjoy all 14 and a half hours of daylight and hour of so twilight either side.  Plenty of time to surf, wrap up the year at work, get your shopping done and attend a Christmas party of two.   

I had my fingers crossed for a sunrise this morning but the clouds stubbed that out pretty quick.
