Well, what do you know... there's waves!
It's a little lumpy, a touch bumpy but combined with the right slice of sand there's some punchy little wedges to be sampled. With the first day back at school coming into sight, it's no wonder the grommets were all over it. My guess is they'll be on it all morning and all afternoon with a only feed of hot-chip sandwiches in between to refuel.
Yesterday's onshore wind has blown up a little Nor-East wind swell; it's 2ft with the odd bigger one. There's enough push into for even the older grommets amongst us to get a few turns in. The last I checked the wind was fairly light so it'll probably be wedgey and fun most of the day.
