Morning!  Today's the longest day of the year - enjoy all 14 and a half hours of daylight and hour of so twilight either side.  Plenty of time to surf, wrap up the year at work, get your shopping done and attend a Christmas party of two.   

I had my fingers crossed for a sunrise this morning but the clouds stubbed that out pretty quick.  

They say a change is as good as a holiday and yesterday's change was cool and oh so sweet! We might not be basking in sunshine but those hot, sunny summer days are a distraction to anyone

Strange morning out there today.  We had a brief burst of colour and then the Sun just hung in behind the clouds making for a eerie soft light and warm, muggy air.  It kind-a felt like an evening

It's all changed out there today; the sunshine's gone and the hot air got been pushed out to sea with last nights Southerly change.  It's no postcard 10 out of 10 day like yesterday's harbour side stunner. 

When the temperature heads up and beyond 30 degrees and there's a summer sea-breeze blowing, the harbour side of Manly seriously shines.  Right now it's a 10 out of 10 day on Sydney

Oh man, it's so nice in the water right now!  All that cold water that was shocking us on entry last week seems to have cleared out along with the green tinge of algae that comes with the up-welling.  It's warm, it's clear and there's time to spare before the work or school whistle blasts - you'd be mad to sleep through it!
