Tube Time

Remember that TV show back in the 90's called Tube Time? Apart from the odd feature on Nine's Wide World of Sports, Tube Time was about as much surfing as you'd get to watch on the box back then. Problem was, it aired on a Saturday morning when anyone that really cared about surfing was most likely actually surfing. Needless to say, the show didn't last long and a quick search of the web this morning didn't reveal many memories. IGone forever. But down the beach this morning there were plenty of tubes and plenty of time. The wind's swung offshore and there's 3-4 foot of groomed ENE swell making for some fun ones. If you've got a chance to get amongst it I'd take the opportunity. The wind is going to swing in from the E later in the day but it'll be light so there's the chance it could be good all day. Worth keeping an eye on the flags. Tomorrow is looking much the same. Sweet!
