Three days of light winds and sunshine; you couldn't ask for better weather to celebrate a winter long weekend. These winter days when it's cool in the morning, warm in the sun and offshore all day long are some of the best we get all year.

The water's drop a touch in temperature (just under 20˚ accord to MHL) but it's just about as clean and blue as it gets. There's something in the sou'westerly winds that must strip the ocean of it's nutrients and murkiness and gives us the inshore clarity. Well worth a swim around Cabbage Tree Bay right now!

Today's a mixed bag of smallish swells. It not as clean as it's been the last couple of days although there is a occasional set wave that's breaking out back. Nothing to gett too excited about but crowds are minimal so it’s worth a lazy paddle.
