Westerlies
Winter Crescent
The westerlies have swept across the city and whatever remained of the NE wind swell at dawn has been blown out to sea. Believe it or not, it was surfable this morning. It was marginal for sure, but at 7:30 there was a little pulse and I reckon you could have surfed a twinny or something of that ilk. That was before 20knots of gusty offshores nullified any swell heading our way.
One thing that these winds do bring is water clarity as all traces of sediment are blown out to sea. Check it out when the wind settles back down over the next day or so. Should be delightful swimming conditions with the potential for some south swell.
