Anomaly
Winter Crescent
Today is something of an anomaly in terms of the weather we've experienced lately and of what's to come. It's warm with northerly winds; a summery day in the midst of a run of cool winter days. The upside to this weather of might be a bump in NE swell and a light shower for the lawn, not to mention relief from the cold mornings. Tomorrow we're back to normal winter programming as the wind swings westerly and the temperatures drop... hopefully the swell will hang around for at least the morning session.
If you were up earlier enough this morning you might have got the double, moonrise, sunrise combo. I've alway wanted a watch a crescent moonrise over the ocean but haven't committed my alarm to one yet. A day or two before the New Moon is the go... one day.
Not much surf around today... onshore and hardly breaking.
Enjoy the weather.
