Warmer In
Tom treading softly
Brisk and wintery conditions this morning. It was 8 degrees when I left the house and scampered down the street and across the cold sand. Luckily it's significantly warmer in with MHL putting the sea surface temp upwards of 19 degrees. I suited up and chose the warmer option. The observant among you might notice a slight variation in the compositions today as I tested a new lens port with a longer focal length.
The south swell has angled a touch in our favour overnight with 2 to 3 footers wrapping into the Manly-Queenie stretch, it's mostly straight with the odd corner breaking into deeper water. South-facing beaches would be getting the full serving of south swell and have to be close to double-overhead. Good to have a bit of swell back after that flat spell.
