Hiatus
Jordi setting the rail on his step-up
The sun's made a comeback this morning after a hiatus behind a curtain of rain the last couple of days. The sun's out but the wind is still fiercely onshore and there's the odd spot of rain showers showing up on the radar. Don't hang the washing out just yet, we might be on for more rain in the coming days.
There's nowhere to hide from this wind direction and force but the south end offers the best chance of some respite. The swell's a chunky head-to-double-overhead out of the ESE, it's raw and consistent serving up the kind of surf that required sustained effort. Not for all; rewarding for some.
Over in the South West, two Manly local's remain in the mix at Margaret River for stop #7 of the WCT. Tune in to watch North Steyne's George Pittar & Queenscliff's wildcard Winter Vincent in the bracket stage when it kicks off potentially later today.
Maybe see you tomorrow... maybe not.
