Thirty-Five
It's warm out there today! 35˚ already and sunshine galore. It's a long way from the "dashing through the snow" Christmas that we sang about when I was a kid. But this is Christmas Aussie style; Summer, surf, hot sun, cold ham and afternoon naps in the shade. With schools wrapping up and half of Sydney signing off for the year this afternoon, there's an anticipation of holidays in the air.
Waves? Yep there was something surfable out there this morning. Nothing amazing but after the last 3 months of lacking, you'd jump on this morning's offering without much thought. The shoulder-high nor'east wedges looked pretty appealing at dawn and if the wind stays offshore it might even get better. Plus, the ocean is as refreshing as it gets on days like this.
