This morning was a treat. Like one of those sweet treats from a fancy bakery that you think is going to be good but it's oh-so much better when you bite into it.

These kind of morning's definitely excite the photographer in me more than the surfer. Sure the waves were ok, people were getting fun waves and doing their thing, but I was in it for the light!

Oh joy! Finally we have a dawn with offshore winds and a silky smooth ocean.  Feels like an age ago since we've been graced with an offshore and it sure makes a different to the aesthetic of the experience.

Well, wasn't yesterday a special one?! It's not often all the elements come together but the confluence of a fresh spike of East swell and all day offshore winds is bound to create something memorable.

Summer's coming back like an an oven today. It's still pretty mild out there right now but by this afternoon the Westerly wind is going to be blowing hot air from the interior through Sydney like an unwanted hair-dryer.
