Fishing Time

This morning will be defined by change. Cloudy dawn, sunshine at 8 and the wind swinging around the compass from east to north, then west before a southerly change settles in for the next couple of days.

The forecast for Tropical Cyclone Oma's track seems to have changed somewhat overnight and we may have to wait a little long for our share of swell down here in Sydney. Stay tuned though, the forecast is unsettled so another change is inevitable.

Should she make a b-line for the Queensland Coast, the joy might be short lived and turn to erosion and If you had a clear diary this week you might want to make plans to fly North. The action is really going to start ramping up from Wednesday afternoon and from all reports it's going to be on either way TC Oma moves next.

Back to the present time and location; The tide is dropping and the wind has just ticked around to offshore in Manly. It's not going to last long so if you've got a moment, take your chance!
