:: Southern Influence

There's a cold Sou-Wester blowing this morning and it's influence is being felt on the hands and toes of anyone that was up early on the sand.  It feels like winter again and it'll remain the same for most of the weekend. We've got a short period South Swell now and it's a little lumpy and unruly but the offshore wind is doing its best to groom out the bumps. Tomorrow we should see the short period swell replaced by a fresh Southern groundswell adding a bit more energy to the surf.  Could be cleaner; could be closeouts; we'll see in the morning.

Manly Arts Festival is kicking off tonight with a Launch Party at the Manly Art Gallery & Museum.  The line-up for the Festival looks outstanding with so many of highlights - check out the program online.  Sprout Daily is having an exhibition as part of the Festival at Berrins from next Thursday - lock in Thursday night for our Opening Night event with more details to come next week! Also, don't forget the Community Open Day up at Q Station on Sunday.  Big weekend ahead on Manly! Enjoy your Friday! ∆ Murray
