:: Pastel

Beautiful Autumn colours in the sky this morning and nice mix of high and low clouds, the scene could have been painted in pure pastel. The swell's dropped overnight but there's still 2-3ft of fading East swell and a light offshore breeze.  The outside banks have great shape but they're just a little deep; it's pretty full even with the 8 o'clock low tide. There's a big South Swell on the move up the coast and we should start to see the effects of that tomorrow morning building through to a potential 8-10ft on the weekend.  It's going to be a way different swell event than this last East swell; far less pretty and way fewer options. But swell never the less.
