The East Swell is fading and the high tide was drowning the best banks this morning but there was enough left in the bag for a bit of fun to be had. It's grey and overcast outside and the wind is forecast to go ENE during the day so act quick or forget about it. Today's a long way removed from Classic Queensland but somehow it still feels good to be back on home turf. Ahhh, we love Manly don't we. The fella's up the road at The Sugarmill Fine Surf Emporium are opening their doors and tuning up their vocal cords for another Surf Swap Meet. This time it's a sunset affair with live music and probably a cheeky beverage or two going down on the forecourt. You know how it goes. Bring your board, bring your girl, bring your fella and be seduced by a sexy secondhand stick or the smooth threads and sharp haircut of Pat Cappocci.
