The door is almost shut on Summer and the light is fading away from the morning. At 6:30 this morning is was still dark, exacerbated by the heavy sky and rain. One bloke I ran into remarked that daylight saving should be ending this weekend. He must be a morning person craving a little more light to utilise before work but to be honest I don't mind. I'm digging the afternoons right now and if it wasn't for the rain this morning we'd probably have another half hour of light at least. The Southerly's been blowing all night and the swell's up a touch on yesterday although it's wind affected. If you're keen, tuck into the Southern corner of Manly and enjoy the rainy surfing experience. Few days of rain ahead.
