Colour Tide
Colour Tide
A perfectly still ocean and an array of clouds catching the dawn light painting the scene pink this morning. There was close to zero chance of getting a wave. No good for surfers but for the swimmers it means the ritual crossing of Cabbage Tree Bay is about as good as it gets right now. I was too early to get a sense of the visibility but I reckon it must be amazing.
We're in for a change in weather with a southerly due overnight, a drop in temperature and plenty of rain. The bright side of the change is we'll start to see a bit of long overdue swell. First from the south before it swings around to east for the weekend. Hopefully some good days ahead.
If you like your ocean served super still with a side of sunshine, get in today!
