If you were up with the sparrows this morning you probably caught a glimpse of that explosion of light and colour. It was one of the most colourful sunrises I've seen all year; a real kaleidoscope of pinks, oranges and greys on a canvas of mixed textured clouds. I missed a cracker a couple of weeks ago so I felt pretty chuffed to be up for this one.

If you missed the sunrise and that brief 15 minutes of sunshine this morning, you might have missed the sun for the day. The clouds have set in now and there's the odd drop of rain about.

Waves? Better than expected I'd say. There's a lumpy wind swell out of the ENE and the rain seems to have dampened the wind. Looked pretty fun on my ride to the studio.
