Thursdays With Jordi

Up close

One day last week (think it was Friday) I was ridding home into a strong northerly. The waves were small and onshore, terrible! Not the conditions that most of us would even look, let alone give it a second glance. All of a sudden this flash of blond catches my eye, scoots across a flat section and whips a two-turn combo into the beach. Jordi Bray! He's out there everyday no matter the conditions and the passion and dedication shows in his surfing.

I linked up with Jordi this morning down near the volleyball courts. It wasn't pumping but he made it look rippable and fun. We're taking one to two foot of short period wind swell, good fun if you're a grommet.
