My expectations were for a very low energy ocean and quiet beachfront this morning but it was lively. There's a surprising little swell out of the ENE and plenty of surfers enjoying the fruits. Fun for all-comers on logs, twins or even the odd shortboard runner.

Hard to believe there's been another shark attack on a metropolitan Sydney beach. My thoughts are with the woman and her family involved as well as the wider Eastern Suburb's surfers and ocean lovers as they process this. Much kindness and respect as you navigate your way back into the place you love.
