Linger

Tully

Showers are lingering about the coast this morning making for a pretty drab start to your Monday.  The silver lining to these passing showers is that every now and then the clouds shift just enough to let the light fall on the ocean making for some beautiful directional light. I quite enjoy these shooting in these conditions, especially from the water.

Surf-wise, the high-tide is having an oversized influence on the waves today. There's slow, fullish runners out off the deeper banks; patience required. Or, try your hand at the short, sharp little shoreys further in; speed an agility required. Fun if you can get the right one at either option.

The week ahead is looking ok for waves as a steady flow of smallish east swell continues its run to our shores under lightish winds. Not flat, not pumping but surfable throughout.
