:: Cloudscape

I remember a pullout poster from a surfing magazine when I was a grommet that depicted a flawless Cloudbreak line up; perfect tubes reeling off seemingly in the middle of the ocean.  It was an image that stuck with me. Yesterday on the approach to the reef that makes up Cloudbreak, the water was as glassy as I've ever seen open ocean.  Then, in the distance, a dark shadow slowly emerged from the grey Pacific, peaked up and rolled off perfectly.  Yesterday, I got to experience that childhood image in real life.  Up close it was a far less serene experience, but no less perfect.

Looks like a bit of swell in Sydney at the moment too.  Good news! ::  Murray
