It's a cold, dark, rainy, day outside in Sydney. It's not the most motivating weather to get you out of bed and into your working week but hey, you'll be focused.

The run of swell and chilly morning's continues today. We've got sets stacking up from the south and a wintery westerly chilling right through to the bones.

There's a serious chill in the air this morning! 

My weather app was telling me it was 5.3 degrees at 7am….

The sun is out, the wind is a cool west-sou'west and the swell has added a little more easterly to it's direction.  There's 3 footers with the odd bigger one.  It's all the elements of a good time…

There's the a neat little bump in East swell today and it's likely to hang about for the next day or so before another round of south swell kicks in late tomorrow.

Morning! Oh yeah, Friday is here already; we love these short weeks! Four days on two days off; now that's the kind of ratio I think we could all live with.

The swell's jumped from 1ft to 1 and a half foot this morning. No need to wax the pin tails, the foamiest board in your quiver is still going to be the board of choice, just be prepared to get your hair wet ….

Well that's it for long weekend's until October. Lucky we had a good one to set us up to get us through the short days and cool mornings of the winter months. 

Oh boy, what a week we've had! Three swell's in 5 days with yesterday being an absolute stand out.

The sun is back, the wind's offshore and the waves are on the pump! Seem's like the swell's settled just the right amount to light up the beach breaks. 

It's another cold Winter's morning out there, we've really dived straight into the deep dark depths of the season.The weather has settled from yesterday onslaught, the swell has faded a touch and the wind is back…

What an extraordinary morning! At 8am it was 0-1ft and hardly breaking at Queenscliff, you might have struggled on a longboard. You might have been calling "hoax". Two hours later, the swell just clicked in and

It's calm out there this morning. An ease in swell and light offshore winds under a blanket of heavy clouds has lulled us into a sense of deep peace and quiet. It'll be a very different story come tomorrow morning…

The south swell has arrived with plenty of raw southern energy and a consistent pulse of thumping bass. It's nice to see sets stacking up out in the Tasman. The trouble with these south swell…

The south swell is on the build and it's going to stick around Sydney through the weekend and beyond, just in time as we lock into the winter season. It's been a brisk week so far!

6.8 degrees.  That's what my phone was telling me the temperature was when I left the house at 6am this morning! Man that's cold, specially given we've been basking in late summer conditions! Right now we've barely made it to 12….

Bit fresh out there this morning! Cold on the sand but the water is still amazing! 23 degrees in, not bad a week out from Winter! It's as clear as I can remember too! Take your chances, winter is coming! 

Look outside, it's another sensational autumn day unfolding. In fact, today wouldn't be out of place in Summer - we're heading for 25 degrees today which is the summer average. Go figure!
