Who doesn't love a Sunday? Even the name come with the suggestion of optimism and warmth. Yes - sun! We could do with a little of that today!
Yesterday was a special Sunday in Manly bookended with a spectacular sunrise light show and the crowning of two Champions of the Vissla Sydney Pro.
After a week serving up quality waves Manly's stamina gave out and the final day was contested in 1ft cross-shore conditions. The waves may have been tiny but with hard-graft and focus two very worthy winners in Nikki Van Dijk and Deivid Silva emerged. Deivid Silva's double-air perfect 10 in the final added the final punctuation. Congratulations to the winners as well as Vissla and Surfing NSW for putting together a cool community minded event.
