The swell has dropped overnight with the onshore winds increasing. The competitors where all out again this morning, warming up before the Hurley Australian Open Of Surfing which kicked off at 7:30AM. Yesterday saw North Steyne's Beau Mitchell sadly get eliminated from the event, unlucky mate.. You still did us proud! Local Kai Otton advanced through to Round 3 with North Narrabeen's Cooper Chapman.
