Mixed Clouds
Morning! It's been just under a month since the last post and it's nice to be back home and on the tools again. I've just spent the last 3 weeks on paternity leave on the Mid Coast of Adelaide with Olly and our son. It's a beautiful part of the country fringed by the McLaren Vale wine region and a coastline of fun little reef breaks when the swell sneaks through the narrow gap between the Yorke Peninsula and Kangaroo Island.
Back home it sounds like there's been some fun waves around and the odd sighting of the men in grey suits. Oddly it feels more 'sharky' in Sydney right now than in South Oz. Grateful for the NSW government extending the hours and coverage of the drone surveillance.
Fun little waves about this morning. I wasn't expecting much so I was surprised to see shoulder-high sets, albeit the sets were well spaced out. The water is clear and relatively warm compared to down south and the light at this time of the year is divine.
Catch up with you soon.
