Really nice morning out there today. The swell's dropped a bit of energy and angled around to the east a touch making for more user-friendly conditions. It's 2ft with the odd 4 footer, offshore, clean and tidy. The banks are a little allover the place at the moment with deep holes and gutters and a shallow, slabby shore break. But, if you find yourself in the right spot, there's some fun ones to be had.

We're only days away from the commencement of winter and the sea temp is sitting at a very comfortable 20 degrees according to MHL. It's not warm but the leaky old suits are still effective at 20 degrees. Enjoy it while it last!

We're in for another bump in south swell tomorrow with light wind most of the weekend. It's not going to be like last weekend but it won't be flat either.
