What a morning! The sun is back at full strength and the southerly wind has backed off leaving us basking in Spring sunshine. It was a touch cool at first light but right now it's about as pleasant and comfortable as Spring days come. And the good news is we're in for a nice litte run of fine weather through the weekend with full sun and temperatures reaching into the high 20's. Perfect timing for the Manly Jazz Festival!

I took a quick swim with the camera this morning, the first in quite a while, and it was tougher than it looked. With the low tide, the sandbank was super shallow and I had a rough time getting in position, constantly being battered by punchie little one footers! Was probably the same for the surfers; 9 out of every 10 waves was a sharp little closeout but tenth lined up pretty good. Fun if you found one.
