Perfectly still morning out on Cabbage Tree Bay this morning. I could hear the swimmers doing their daily crossing talking up the pristine conditions and visibility through their snorkels. While the ocean was still, the sky put in a light show of vivid colours as high, wispy clouds caught the first light of the day.

An absolutely stellar day for a swim... not great for a surf. There's defined lines of swell on the water but they're on the margins of surfable. Maybe a touch more swell on the beaches with more exposure to the south swell if you're desperate.
