Morning! How you doing out there? School holidays must be just about all wrapped up for the year so we can settle in, take a deep breath and focus on the home stretch of the bizarre year that 2020 has been so far. 'Normal' is not a word anyone could associate with 2020 but finding a sense of 'normal' within our own lives has probably been one of the biggest challenges of the last 9 months. I finally feel like I've settled in with some semblance of what normal feels like again, at least in the current context.

This morning felt like a stock-standard normal kind of a spring day to me. We had a beautiful soft sunrise, ruffled ocean and a weak little 1-2ft wind swell. It didn't have the urgent energy of Friday's pumping surf but there was a something solid, calming and reassuring about the whole scene. A good day to settle in the week ahead. I think it's going to be productive.

11 October 2020 - The day that wasn't it. If you're one of the people that purchased a 2020 Sprout Calendar from the first print run, you'll know what I'm talking about. Yep, we left out the 11th... I still can't believe it! Hope it's not your birthday.
