The sun has made a welcome return to the morning hours today. It's warm with just a breathe of sou'westerly and a sky scattered with high and low clouds. Humidity is high despite the sou'wester and tempretures are headed toward the high 20's. Nice day to be up early.

Surfwise the offering is minimal. The ocean, however, is looking inviting this morning and there's plenty heeding the call for a bay crossing, paddle, swim or simply to wait out the lulls perched a top a log and hope for a small runner. I saw a couple…

The south end of Manly has always been a hive of early morning life in the ocean and it was refreshing to sit a watch for a while. Enjoy the day.
