Can you believe it's the first day of Winter? I don't know about you, but for me, Summer seemed to last (no waves, too humid) an age but Autumn zipped by in a flash. Maybe it was because we had one of the best seasons of surf we've had in a while the mind-clock sped up or I kept busy. This Autumn was a good one. There seemed to be swell after swell lining up and plenty of them had east in the angle.

Autumn's a memory now and today was a classic sunny Sydney winter's day. Crisp morning, cool westerly and warm if you could find a patch of sunshine. It was blue sky and a big calm blue ocean; not much swell but enough if you could muster some foam.

Speaking of blue, did you catch last night's Blue Moon rise? Conditions were perfect for a full moon rise with a spray of clouds to add some colour.
