The sun rose out of the sea as a golden orb in a peach coloured sky this morning. There was just enough cloud hanging on the horizon to give the sky some colour and mask the Sun. It was a classic South-East Asian sunrise; much rarer here. The wave are tiny but if you got the patience there's a the shapely runner. Just be sure to take some foam with you!
The Quiksilver Pro was briefly resuscitated this morning with four heats of Round Two run in slow and small conditions at Snapper. Mick and Kelly survived but the contest is on hold again until a 12:30pm call.
